Hey, all you DIVEs from every corner of the world, gather up right here! Finally, the up-and-coming K-pop queen, IVE, has released her first full-length studio album "I'VE IVE". Ever since they made hits like ELEVEN, Love Dive, and After Like since the debut, they have been raising fans expectations with each album release. And when I finally heard the news of their new album coming out, I was super excited! I've been eagerly waiting not just for the songs but also for the members' glowing visuals and talents, watching the teasers and trailers that have been released little by little every day! Especially for this album in that the concept that has been building up since their debut teaser and the past three singles, the additive color mixing (RGB) concept, is finally completed in WHITE! Can you imagine how much effort they put into completing its long-awaited concept? 🥺 So let's enjoy IVE's new album together and dive right into it, shall we?

IVE just dropped a new song called 'Kitsch' as a pre-release 2 weeks before the actual release date! Our beloved pink-haired fairy, Kongsoonie Rei, looks so cute in the music video. I mean, I couldn't resist watching it as soon as I found out that she dyed her hair! The song is about 3 minutes long, but the part that goes 'Our own carefree nineteen’s kitsch~' is so addictive, it's definitely stuck in my head now! The lyrics give off the same vibe as their previous songs, where they're self-confident and love themselves, and it's definitely present in this new track too. In the music video, they've got this healthy and sporty vibe going on, and I feel like it's got a bit of 'After Like' mixed in too, making it more mature. But maybe that's just my own interpretation, haha.

Can you believe that this song, which isn't even the title track, is already topping the charts and even got them their first music show win of “I AM” era?! They're just killing it. And you know what? I don’t think I was the only one that loved it, hehe. But if you're an IVE fan like me, you might feel a little dissatisfied that Liz's part was so short compared to the other members. Her voice is seriously a gem and her pronunciation is on point, so I really wished her part was longer. 😥

IVE's title track, "I AM," has raised expectations for this album to the next level with its kitschy vibes! Doesn't the title alone make you think, "there’s no way that this is not the title track" The lyrics exude self-love with the message, "You just have to believe, it's just as it seems." I love how the lyrics confidently reveal their characters. IVE's songs always have a hint of nostalgia from 2nd and 3rd generation K-pop girl groups, and this song is no exception! If you're a KPOP otaku, your heart will race! Plus, Wonyoung and Leeseo, who I always thought were little babies, have grown up and are now classy and fancy as adults and high school students. 😭💕 Since when did our babies grow up so pretty... it's so touching.

IVE has gained enormous amount of attention and love as an icon of MZ generation since their debut all thanks to Wonyoung and Yujin, who are from IZ*ONE! They have a concept that emphasizes 'self-love', take care of one’s lives independently, keeping up with the current trend. However, people have always had something to complain about their live performances and skills. But with this new album, they showed their growth and proved the haters wrong by perfectly executing their parts in the encore live performance in which they won first place. I was so proud to see how much effort each member put into it, especially Leeseo who filled in for Rei's empty spot. We couldn't see Rei's 'I AM' stage due to health issues, and it was really disappointing, but I hope she comes back healthy and we can see the full team's performance together!

she (Yujin) captured my attention because of her puppy like visual. I met her as a young and joyful kid. I enjoy all their music and her vocals especially.

I’ve first saw wonyoung in pd48 then in  IZ*ONE she’s really pretty and talented and I like her as she was the maknae of the group at that time and she was really relatable and now with her being in ive, she really grew a lot by maturity and talent but she’s still the same wonyoung back in IZ*ONE.

Gaeul dances made me explore my dancing style! In short, I grew to love dancing because of her! 

Yujin is my bias because she caught my attention from the very start and really like her voice!
