I mean, it goes without saying that the sheer joy of meeting your bias directly in person like through concerts and events is just so amazing! But for our beloved global besties, who don't get many opportunities to meet them in person, idols are now showcasing themselves through various content on different platforms. Now, YouTube isn't just a space for music videos; it's even more important than cable TV for promotions and must-have for every bestie!

You already know MC Jaejae, right? the national MC of the YouTube world, known as the toptier MC. She is so famous! It seems like nearly all of idols have such a blast on her show, "MMTG." Not only in Korea but now worldwide, Jaejae is treasured by K-pop fans everywhere. She knows so much about artists and shares stories in such a comfortable atmosphere. so, it's impossible not to enjoy it! Plus, not long ago, Jaejae became a freelancer PD/MC at TV station "SBS". I really hope she gets to host my bias's fan meetings and showcases...! and appear on "MMTG" too! I'm really looking forward to seeing her have more freedom in her future endeavors!

Even Besties who can't drink can enjoy "Nothing Much Prepared"! Even without alcohol, the energy is so high as my adorable bias and the hilarious Lee Young Ji get tipsier and tipsier as they drink. Recently, the episode with Seventeen's Joshua and Dokyeom, and aespa's Karina left a strong impression on me. Seeing my chic bias becoming cuter and cuter while enjoying a drink in a relaxed and soothing vibe... It's so endearing and something you won't see anywhere else. I would die of happiness if my bias appeared on the show.

Not only enjoying the content provided, but now creating content has become one of the ways to consume K-pop as it seems… Just like the saying that fans know their bias better than anyone else, it seems YouTube channel run by fans, commonly known as "fantube" is becoming a huge thing!

The videos uploaded are filled to the brim with affection, so they can't help but be entertaining for the fans. I mean it requires such a tremendous effort gathering all those clips of videos, remembering even the tiniest details, and turning them into complete videos, so naturally it seems like fans can find so much joy in those videos! Through YouTube, I watch various videos of K-pop idols, and there are many fantubes that appear in my YouTube algorithm, so I enjoy them quite a lot.

One of the well-known fan-tubes include "SNSD LAB", run by a dedicated fan of Girls' Generation which SNSB themselves know quite well! And the channel "Jeon Soyeon Shorts (not short in height, just so you know)," subscribed and liked by (G)I-DLE's Soyeon herself! Seeing fans enjoying themselves and artists being able to directly feel their love, wouldn't we want to support them even more and express our love?

K-pop itself is so enjoyable and all, but the content and channels that showcase different ways of appreciating K-pop are getting more and more attention as well. Besties have recommended me all the channels with such diverse content and all. Allow me to introduce you to one called 'imlisarhee'. They share dance cover videos for K-pop songs, which really gets fans who love K-pop music and dancing real excited! They even provide tutorials so we can enjoy the music even more! They keep their channel up to date with the latest songs, so how about I say we besties go dance along the videos?

And there's also the channel called 'yoonluv4342', where they unbox and showcase numerous merchandise and albums from various artists. There’s something so satisfying about seeing those tempting goods I want to get my hands on getting unboxed and all! Just watching the videos gives me a sense of vicarious satisfaction. Moreover, they also show DIY content like making custom tops and packaging photocard sets, which literally makes my eyes light up!

But no matter what, watching my bias slay on the stage is the best! It's amazing how important focus cams provided directly by TV stations have become, let alone fan-recorded fancams. So, when they make a comeback, you MUST watch their stunning performances on STUDIO CHOOM and listen to their songs on “It's Live, Killing Live”. That's when the comeback activities truly begin! In the future, there will be even more content to consume, a growing number of big fans enjoying K-pop, and an increasing global bestie discovering K-pop through content, right? It would be great if we could find a variety of content that brings us happiness while watching our favorite artists, allowing us to enjoy the company of many fans. Who knows? Perhaps they could be our new TV/Break comfort food!
